CLEP Credits Accepted

Contrary to popular belief AP, IB, and dual-enrollment are not the only ways to earn college credit while still in high school.

One of the best kept secrets in early college planning, CLEP exams offer students the opportunity to earn college credit and/or advanced placement status while potentially saving thousands of dollars in the process. There are exams in 36 different subject areas where students can demonstrate mastery of the content through independent study, homeschool education, or other non-traditional means. Over 2,900 schools in the United States accept credit. Below we highlight a sampling of selective colleges that accept CLEP exam credits.
