Delaware County, Ohio College Admissions Consulting

The Delaware County area includes a number of excellent public high schools. In fact, all six of the county’s public high schools were recently ranked in the top 100 high schools by U.S. News & World Report. There is no question that students at Olentangy High School, Olentagy Liberty, Olentangy Orange, Big Walnut, Buckeye Valley, and Rutherford B. Hayes High School students all have access to excellent instruction, advanced learning technology, and academically competitive peers. Yet, while many Delaware County students have capitalized upon such advantages to develop college-ready credentials, most experience difficulty accessing college-related support, specifically the help needed to earn admission into suitable, good-fit colleges and universities.  According to the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), student-to-counselor ratios at Ohio high schools are approaching 500-to-1 which often leads to students receiving less than 30 minutes of college counseling per year. This is why many Delaware County, Ohio area families seek out college admissions consulting.

Our counselors and consultants at College Transitions aim to meet the admission-related needs of Delaware County families by offering a host of admissions counseling services, including, but not limited to, college application review, college essay coaching, resume development, college interview preparation, standardized testing strategies, extracurricular and course planning, and financial aid and scholarship guidance.  Our independent college counselors and private consultants have over a decade of college admissions and planning experience and have leveraged their academic background and professional networks to guide students into top colleges and universities across Ohio, the Midwest, and the United States.  Nearby college and universities into which our students have been admitted include Case Western Reserve University, Ohio State, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, College of Wooster, and Denison University. Additionally, we have guided students into Stanford, Swarthmore, Caltech, MIT, all eight Ivy League schools, and just about every other highly selective institution in the country.

College Transitions counselors and consultants have worked with families living throughout the Delaware County area, including Columbus, Westerville, Powell, and Dublin. We have worked with students from the six public high schools mentioned above as well as from area private schools such as Columbus Academy, The Wellington School, and the Columbus School for Girls. The admissions process at selective colleges and universities may have become more complex and competitive, but it does not have to prove a more stressful experience. Let our team guide you.  To learn more, please contact us by phone at 678-710-3699 or by email at [email protected].
