Grinnell is a Common App member institution and allows students to select the “Other (Non-US)” option.

Do you recommend that undocumented students disclose their immigration status in the application, including essays or counselor/teacher recommendations?

Yes, Grinnell recommends that students disclose this informative whenever possible.

For residency and tuition purposes, how does your institution treat undocumented students? (i.e., international, in-state, out-of-state, etc.)

As a private institution, Grinnell does not consider residency for tuition purposes.

Yes, Grinnell offers merit aid and also meets 100% of demonstrated need for admitted students. This demonstrated need is determined by Grinnell.
