Andrew Receives AERA Grant

December 20, 2012

AERA_LogoAndrew was recently awarded a research grant in conjunction with the American Education Research Association and National Science Foundation for his work examining the relationship between school counseling and postsecondary enrollment. The AERA/NSF grants program seeks to stimulate research on U.S. education issues using data from the large-scale, national and international data sets supported by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), NSF, and other federal agencies, and to increase the number of education researchers using these data sets. Awards are up to $20,000 for one-year projects. Only about 15 grants are awarded per year, and the grant award process is highly competitive.
