Northfield Mount Hermon is an independent, coeducational boarding school for grades 9–12 and the postgraduate year. The school was formed by a merger in 1971 of the Northfield School for Girls (founded in 1879) and the Mount Hermon School for Boys (founded in 1881). True to the legacy of founder D.L.
