Through SEA’s interdisciplinary curriculum, students explore their passion for the ocean by experiencing cultural connections to the sea and engaging in scientific inquiry. This program combines insights from the natural and social sciences to deepen students’ awareness of and appreciation for the ocean.

Sea|mester

The Sea|mester experience is designed to provide engaging learning experiences. Learn the oceanographic processes responsible for the trade winds while sailing 5000 nautical miles using nothing but their energy. Designed to challenge students to realize that, in many ways, it is the journey that matters most, not the destination.
