Harvard Undergraduate Ventures-TECH Summer Program: Spotlight

Hosted in collaboration between Harvard Undergraduate Ventures and the Technology & Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard (TECH) within the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), HUVTSP brings together a select cohort of high school students from around the world to engage with the highest levels of innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture-backed technology. 

Guaranteed Startup Internships

HUVTSP is the only innovation-focused summer program for high school students that gives each admitted student an internship with a leading, venture-backed startup. Companies backed by the same investment firms that funded Google, DoorDash, OpenAI, and Cruise offer HUVTSP students a unique chance to look – and work – behind the curtain.

Uniquely offered by HUVTSP, each student is embedded in a startup team and tasked with solving a real business or technical challenge over six weeks. Students conduct market research, build product prototypes, develop go-to-market strategies, and present to leadership. 

Real-World Teaching from Industry Revolutionaries

Along with their internships, students attend daily interactive seminars and workshops run by founders of multimillion-dollar companies, world-class investors, and Harvard faculty. Senior executives at institutions like Google, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft have spoken to past cohorts.
