For example, the Goizueta Business School prefers students complete the majority of their business coursework at Emory, so students with a number of business classes from another institution are not good transfer candidates. That said, there are prerequisite courses that should be completed prior to applying. Additionally, those interested in the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing should view the program’s requirements, which include 60 semester credit hours of coursework in the physical sciences, math, social sciences, and electives.

According to the university: “Applicants should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all college work, and most students admitted have a GPA of 3.5 or better.”
